Avery loves reading and reciting nursery rhymes. Her favorite rhyme of the day today is, "The Wise Old Owl." It goes like this:
A wise old owl sat in an oak;
the more he heard,
the less he spoke,
the less he spoke,
the more he heard.
Why aren't we all like that wise old bird?
Of course, Avery being Avery, she had to tweak the ending and has been going around asking, "Why aren't we all like the wise old me?"
I'm pretty sure she has no idea what she's saying, which makes it a little less arrogant, right?
