Mom the Blob

Fifteen Animals is a book we've checked out from the library a few times. It's about a guy who has fifteen animals and they're all named Bob. Male, female, it doesn't matter; they're all "Bob." Except the guy's turtle whose name is Simon James Alexander Ragsdale the Third. After reading the book this last time Avery keeps telling me that daddy's name is Bob and my name is Blob. While I probably deserve that name, I don't appreciate it. "Can't I be Simon James Alexander Ragsdale the Third?" I ask. "No," is her reply, "Daddy is Bob and you are Blob." I guess that's motivation for me to make some New Year's resolutions ;)
