"Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty pllllllllllllllllllllllllease???" is something I've been hearing from Avery a lot lately. To get the full picture, imagine her tongue sticking out and rattling from left to right when she says all those L's. If my answer is "no" I get more pretties and more L's. It's hard not to smile and give in. When she sees the amusement in my eyes and the corners of my mouth starting to turn up, she knows she's almost got me. That's when she says, "Say,'Oh, alright. I guess so.'" By that point I usually crack, and she has won. Again. Drat!
