She Was Horrid!

I'm sure it was Avery's curly hair that inspired Grandma Ross to recite the nursery rhyme about the little girl who had a little curl the other night while rocking with Avery in the rocking chair. She was saying it just right until she decided to change up the ending so as not to give Avery any ideas. She said,

There was a little girl
Who had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead
And when she was good
She was very, very good
But when she was bad...
(Here's when Grandma used a little poetic license to make the end more inspiring. She shrugged and said,)
She changed!

Avery wasn't about to let Grandma get away with that one, and she yelled out, "NO, 'SHE WAS HORRID!'"

Nice try, Grandma, but there's no pulling the wool over this curly little girl's eyes. She knows her nursery rhymes.
