Look Both Ways

I usually put on some type of educational movie for Avery to watch while I take a shower in the mornings (like Leap Frog or Super Why, etc.). I guess I'm just lazy enough to figure that if she learns something from a movie that's one less thing I have to teach her myself. Afterwards we usually talk about what she learned, but today we forgot because we were rushing to get out the door for Junie's one-year check-up. As we pulled up to an intersection in Rexburg, Avery remembered to tell me what she'd gotten out of that morning's Barney episode. She said, "I learned to look both ways before you get run over."
