Ross and his bff, Tayden, are in a fight. Ross has sworn he’ll never play with Tayden again. (We’ll see…)
In the aftermath of that oath, Ross came in the house with drooping shoulders and said Tayden had betrayed him.
He explained that in happier times Tayden had loved Ross’s favorite rock so much that Ross had broken it in half so they could each have a piece. Like a bff rock.
Then he opened his hand and showed me both pieces. He’d found them lying in the road. Ross couldn’t believe it.
Oh, the betrayal!
