One of the best neighbor gifts we got this Christmas was homemade bread and homemade jam. Once upon a time those were staples at our house, but I haven't made either in forever. The kids have been missing them. They say things like, "I wish we still lived in Idaho cause in Idaho you used to make bread. Humph!"
Ross recognized what a treasure the bread and jam was. He said, "We have to sneak and eat this cause bad guys love this kind of food and they're looking for it right now!"
