At one-year old Bryce has to be under 24 hour surveillance or he'll die. One of the biggest threats of death for him is getting run over. If any of the doors are unlocked he'll run outside and head straight into the road, just because he knows he's not supposed to.
He escaped the other day and when I discovered he was gone I ran outside and saw a scary, but cute scene. Bryce was in the road on his wiggle car and between him and a green car that was headed up our street stood Ross, both hands raised to stop the car. He looked like a super hero out there. And in our book he was!
