Back in the day when I was young and fun, my friends and I liked to play jokes on each other. I remember coming home one day to find all my worldly possessions out on our front lawn with a sign that said, "Yard Sale." (Nice one, Jaime!)
My kids love that story. It inspired June to do something similar with Avery's stuff.
When Avery wasn't amused, June and Ross decided to do a yard sale for real! Those six items on the sidewalk there comprised their merchandise. Every time a car drove by they held up their sign that said: "Yard Sale! Make Us An Offer!"
Despite their dedication, they had no takers.
