Avery is always so good to get out the scriptures for us to read every night at dinner. You always wonder if what you read your kids is sinking in. Well, last night we got evidence that it is.
We had just finished reading about Korihor asking Alma for a sign that God was real. We talked about all the signs Alma gave (the testimonies of the prophets in the scriptures, the earth and everything on it, the movement of the planets, etc.) as proof that He is. Everyone shared what they learned from the story (Avery always says, "I learned the bad part"), and then we did our ritual "dance party" to the "Follow the Prophet" song.
After that Jason went to the bathroom. A few minutes later Avery came pounding on the bathroom door saying, "Dad, I need to go potty!" **Toot!** "See, Dad, that's a sign!"
