Avery and June both start school next week at the BYU-I preschool and toddler lab. When June's teachers came to our house to meet her I thought she'd burst from joy to finally be doing something that Avery had done. She couldn't stop smiling as she drew chalk pictures up and down the sidewalk for them before they arrived. When I asked what she was going to say to them when they got there she thought about it then said, "Come in!" Good answer.
Avery's teachers came out to meet her Monday afternoon. I got the spiel from one teacher while the other teacher distracted Avery. Things were going well until I overheard Avery telling her teacher that her teeth looked yellow. I told myself I didn't just hear that. Eek!
