Have I mentioned that Avery loves her brother? She ADORES that kid! The cutest part is that the feeling is mutual. Ross has laughed a total of four times in his short little life. Two of those were just giggles, but the real laughter has always been when he's with Avery. Today he had to suffer through two hours of Sunday School and Relief Society meetings without her, but when they were finally reunited he couldn't stop smiling and he just laughed and laughed. It was the sweetest thing.
Besides smothering him in kisses, singing and talking to him, she watches out for him. Ross and I took her to the bathroom today at church and while we were waiting for her to finish up her business she said, "Maybe you could tell me a scary story about a monster, but not too scary...for Ross." We definitely don't want to scare Ross ;)
